Events in Gorizia and Surroundings – 3–9 November 2025
๐ฅ 69th Alpine Brotherhood Torch Relay. From 1 to 4 November, the traditional pilgrimage of light and remembrance crosses the region, touching the main war monuments and cemeteries. The route starts from the Ossuary Temple of Timau, passes through Udine, Aquileia, Grado and Monfalcone, and reaches Redipuglia on 4 November after honouring the many sites of memory along the way. ๐ Gorizia and various locations across the region | ๐ +39 0481 533963 – โ๏ธ gorizia@ana.it
๐ฎ๐น National Unity and Armed Forces Day. On Tuesday 4 November, Gorizia and Redipuglia will come together in remembrance of all those who fell in war. The ceremony begins at 8.30 a.m. in Piazza della Vittoria in Gorizia with the Flag Raising, in the presence of local civil and military authorities. The most solemn moment will be at 11.15 a.m. at the Redipuglia Military Memorial, with a wreath-laying ceremony and the participation of State representatives. Celebrations will conclude at 5.00 p.m., once again in Piazza della Vittoria, with the Flag Lowering ceremony.

๐ Gorithia Digital History Festival – 3rd Edition. 6–9 November 2025 | Fondazione Carigo, Gorizia
The festival returns with an immersive journey through two key periods in Gorizia’s history: the Modern Age and the 20th century. Through interactive experiences, creative workshops, narrative walks, digital exhibitions and meetings, participants can rediscover the city’s evolution across time.
